January 6 is the day of Epiphany, the traditional end of the Christmas season, the celebration of the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus. Sometimes this feast day gets lost in the shuffle of Christmas but this year we are going to celebrate this special day in a big way! First, we are going to offer a special house blessing for every house in the congregation (contact the church office if you have not had a chance to sign up for a house blessing). And we are going to have a really fun Epiphany party on the day of Epiphany, Saturday, Jan 6th, 3-5 p.m. The party will include a relaxed coffee house atmosphere and a musical performance by Brandon Stivers. Plan to join us.
